I wonder how many other are out there who, like me, only became involved
with scale S when Bill Peter started importing Sn3 rolling stock. Although
I preferred AF to the Big L as a kid, and grew up around the West Bay club
in Menlo Park, CA where I thought the S trains were the best, it wasn't
until the Sn3/S brass came along that I ever considered model railroading in
S as a real possibilty.
Have fun!

Hey Ed;
Before Gilbert, there was only CD models and maybe a
couple of small producers like Nimco or Nord.<Snip>. Would you really be
in S if none of those models had been possible (because no AF).
