Bob,
Save yourself the work. The weight goes down through the trucks no
matter where it is placed. Putting the weight lower will make the
car less "tippy", but after you get the weight down as low as
possible there is no advantage to splitting the weight and
positioning it over the trucks. There are times the prototype
divides the load, but that is because the load is heavy enough to
buckle the car. Unless the weight PRS supplies is large enough to
fold up the car there is no reason to divide it.
