Because the DCC standard has nothing to do with what control buttons,
levers, knobs etc. you hold in your hand. This is a marketing
question, not a technical one. All this would require is a little
development money, say $5000, some tooling, say $2000, and a more
expensive hand held controller, say +$15. I think you and 50 of your
friends should send this request to NCE and to MRC. Forget Digitrax,
it's not their style. Or you can wait until I finish school, probably
about 2010, and I'll build it for you in my spare time.
