Subject: {S-Scale List} Magazines and Models

RE : Unfortunately... don't count on it.

Steam : 4-6-0, light 4-6-2, 2-8-2 etc. ...
Diesel : GP-20, GP-38, SD-40, SD-40-2, Dash-8, or ES44DC !

RE : It seems that the key here... and I have been giving this a LOT of
thought... would be offering models that both the current S scale enthusiasts
like and want as well as those that modelers in other scales actually want and
can justify using. Take the early-to-mid GeePs, for instance... a great many
of them are still in use today, so they could be justifiably used by both early
transition-era modelers as well as those of the modern era. GeePs, it seems,
are VERY popular locos with most modelers in most scales, yet as far as I know,
S scale has only one GeeP of any kind availible (the AM GP-7/9/18/or whatever
it is suppsed to be), yet it is of only modest fidelity to the prototype. So,
it seems to me that if such models were offered, folks in other scales WOULD
sit up and take serious notice. Seriously, folks... how many of us out there
do NOT want or could NOT use a GP-7, GP-9, GP-18... or even a GP-30... or just
about any of the early GeePs listed on the page below!? :

I know it sounds like a broken record, but I've been saying it for years
(because I've heard it said nearly verbatim by modelers in other scales)...
modelers will NOT come into a scale where they cannot get what they want!
