> okay, I'm a new convert to S-scale.
Welcome Bill!
Right now, our list is in a tag-team death struggle to find solutions to
problems that us fringe runners are lost concerning. The most fun thing to
do during these brief times is to pull up a comfy chair, get a big bowl of
popcorn... and enjoy the show. It is often very entertaining. It will all
be over shortly, resulting in no more than a few feathers being ruffled.
When the current keyboard chaos is over, you'll find there is a huge wealth
of information here concerning things S, as well as some pretty darn good
modelers.
As for me, well, I'm somewhat a "newby" to S as well... just not a very
energetic one. It's much easier to point/click and read about the things
I'd like to do "someday" than to actually get out the files, glue, parts,
and DO it. Alas, 'tis a sad commentarty on the state that I are in, but
'tis true.
S scale/gauge/guage/gage/whatever is indeed the perfect size.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to go to an O gauge gathering and brag that
your's is bigger... but you can do so at gatherings for HO on down. That's
always gratifying.
Well, all for now. Best of luck to you and your entrance into S.
