I have had no problem using Ops Mode programming on my 2-8-0. I had to get a friend to set the address as Digitrax will not write to the decoder in Prog Mode due to voltage issue others mentioned. I did not want to purchase a booster for this one decoder. The DB150/DT100 may be the problem. I use a DCS100 with a DT400 controller.

The locomotive is great but I can not program the Tsunami with my Digitrax DB150/DT100. I have managed to change the decoder address but nothing else takes. I tried both general "broadcast" programming and also POM. Neither works. I have found on the web a couple of booster devices that will program the Tsunami but both of them say not to use it on the layout - just on the programming track. This would eliminate any programming on the main and would reduce the Tsunami's usefulness on larger layouts using consisting and on-line adjustments for grades, loads, etc. I can't believe that all the Tsunami users have given up on these techniques. My questions are - for those using this locomotive with DCC: What are you using for a command station? Which system allows you to do programming on the main? What work-around do you use if your controller won't do it? Thanks Art Armstrong [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
