Art,

I can only answer part of your queston. I have a Tsunami equipped SHS 2-
8-0, and have also installed one in a Rex Mogel that I kit built. The
layout is powered by a Lenz LZV100 command/power station. The only
thing I've programmed on the programming track is the decoder address
for the Rex. The SHS engine came with the road number preprogramed for
me, which saved me a step.

Both Tsunamis accept changes to the CVs using POM. I don't know that I
have changed every CV in the decoders but I have come pretty close. I
have never had a problem with this setup.

I don't have experience with Digitax equipment, so I can't help you
with troubleshooting or possible workarounds as I've never needed to do
any. Good luck with your search for answers, and sorry I can't offer
more help.

are you using for a command station? Which system allows you to do
programming on the main? What work-around do you use if your
controller won't do it?
