I don't have a problem with cars of shorter length. I just want SOME of my
cars to be 80' prototypical length. When I worked on the Santa Fe, they ran
cars of all lengths together, and judging by vintage photos, other roads did
as well.

I just think it looks especially cool to see those 80' prototypically
correct, sleek cars snaking around a layout.

How do you know they are not correct for that prototype.  NOT ALL CARS
WERE 80 FEET + LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so tired of hearing that song about scale length.  Many cars on
class 1 roads were much shorter than 80'.  So Get Used To IT!!!  Just
cause they are not the same length as your fav prototype does not make
them short.
