You are correct: The NP definitely had some former PRR cars or perhaps former 
DT&I cars, I cannot now recall how that went.  To my knowledge, having grown up 
in Minneapolis and kept an eye on trains, I do not ever recall seeing a B&O 
wagontop box with NP reporting marks.  I think the B&O kept its unique cars.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that some of the Pennsy
roundroofs were sold to the NP and not the B&O version.  This is
documented in one of the NP equipment roster books by sunshine/sunset! 
However, I did find one in St. Paul (during the past NMRA/NASG
convention) above the cut where the museum is rebuilding equipment.  It
was painted green and is nearly covered with trees.  Only a snoopy
little photographer would have found it!
