Bill: The NP cars had a black roof (easy mask then hit it with flat black from an insecticide can), but otherwise I used the paint color "as is". I suppose we can get into a long discussion about "freight car brown" versus "red oxide" versus "mineral brown", but personally I don't have time for that. I used CDS dry transfers, set S-506.
