Ed,

Might there be a way to measure the amp draw across the other decoder
to provide feedback to the Tsunami? This is probably a question for
Jarrett at Soundtraxx, but I'm wondering if folks here have thought of
a way to make it happen?

It seems like there ought to be a way to solder in two wires to either
the orange or gray line of the motor decoder that would then be wired
across the current detection circuit of the Tsunami. Since only a
portion of the motor current would go through the Tsunami, the chance
of smokage would be reduced. A resistor could be added to this
circuit to add further protection. The real trick would be doing this
with the existing wiring harness somehow (i.e. not cracking the seal
on the Tsunami shrink-wrap).
