I remember well what was available in S scale at the moment I made the 
big decision.  There was the REX 2-6-0, the REX Dockside, Enhorning F-
units (promised), the REX 0-6-0 (promised), and a NYC Hudson AF 
conversion kit from S SCALE LOCO & SUPPLY.  There may have been others, 
but if so they have been forgotten.  So I jumped in with a grand total 
of five or six locos on the market (in 1968 or 1969) and having no 
interest at all in two of them.  But look at what we have now.  And 
folks are still complaining.  Cheers...Ed L.
