On the other hand we look at structures and figure something will be there when we get to that point in our layout building.
Jamie, et al; I have been doing the opposite. Not having the time nor the patience anymore to do much scratch building, my idea has been to buy the structure kit and then bash as necessary. At least I have a good starting point for when I build my layout. Problem is, I am running out of storage space for structure kits, and even wondering if I will get them all built, ever. So I have not been buying any recently, no matter how neat they are. And I must admit that I am in a down cycle in the freelance biz, so that tends to put a damper on things.
