Dear Bill:
I found this on the internet today.
http://www.world-war-2-airplane-model.com/brush-paint-ebook.html
I know high quality results can be done with a brush and this free
book proves it.
This evening I got much better results by shaking the paint for 30
minutes in an ultrasonic cleaner followed by a much heavier
application. As it turns out, I was half way to dry brushing.
If I wanted someone else to paint it, I would have shipped the job
out. Much of the fun of modeling is doing it with my own hands. I
build my layout with screws and wood. Each cut is done with a hand
saw. Each screw is driven into a hand-drilled hole with a manual
screwdriver. No power tools here. I clean up the sawdust with a
dustpan and brush. Sure, it takes longer but it is much quieter and I
get much more satisfaction. Each of us have our own way of doing
things.
