Good morning:
I need your help. I am having real problems getting coverage with
my paint. Attached is a photo of my model. (This same photo is found
in the photo album 'Thorin' in our S-Scale group.)

The center of the frame and the cab side show my problem. This is after
priming and then two coats. I am plagued by brush marks and the paint
does not level. You can see the bottle of Polly Scale paint I am using.

I also often have 'corner' problems which hides details. At the right
end of the frame you can see dry, pooled paint around the white block.
At the left end I have a dry pool I got when I airbrushed the primer.
(Model Master white primer airbrushed directly from the bottle -- no
thinning and NO FUMES.)

I use Polly Scale because of fumes. I paint inside with normal house
ventilation. I like to brush because it is QUIET. I hate the noise of
my airbrush and its pump. Often the only time I can paint is after the
children have gone to bed.

What am I doing wrong? I love using a brush. Do I have the wrong
brush? Do I need to 'prep the paint'?

Thank you, experts, for your help and advice.
Thorin
