Common rail sizes used by most S scale standard gauge modelers are code 100
(approx 110 lb rail) and code 83 (approx 85 lb rail). Both are commercially
available as flex track and switches -- code 100 from multiple sources, code 83
from Tomalco. In addition, BK Enterprises and Fasttracks sell kits and jigs to
lay your own from scratch.

Scale wheel sets are needed to handle both 100 and 83 track. SHS is very good
about offering that choice on all their equipment.

Welcome to S scale!
