I am definitely interested in these car sides. I would apply them to the
sides of full length American Models smooth sided streamlined cars. These
cars
were available from American Models in the 1980s. Unfortunately these sides
are not currently in production. As of several months ago, American Models
had some undecorated car bodies if a modeler asked about them, but they are
not listed in their catalog or online site. Perhaps they could be motivated
to produce more if there was some guarantee of quanitity.

I have personally stockpiled a large number of these cars. My belief is
that the serious modeler can obtain them if they look for them at shows and on
eBay though some S scalers would debate this. It definitely requires some
patience unless one gets lucky.

Lets see what other responses you receive, but I personally would be very
excited if your products became available in S scale.

Hi all,

I am the owner of Union Station Products. We make styrene sides for
lightweight Pullman, Budd, and ACF passenger cars, and have just
purchased a machine the will enable us to make S Scale kits.

I spent several hours on Sunday searching the web for anything close to
a core kit (roof, floor, ends) or an existing model that the sides
could be removed so that our sides could be used.

Does anyone know of the availability of either?

Is there enough interest in streamlined passenger car sides for us to
persue this any further? All of the sides on our site would be
available. The price has yet to be determined.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
