Dear Bob,
I remember sitting on a bus in China next to Louis Polk owner of
Polk Aristocraft. It was about 13 or 14 years ago and he asked me
when we planned on offering track. I had not thought very much about
track as my thoughts were with 40' boxcars and the upcoming SW9.
Louis told me that S would go no where without more track and that
every year, track out sold all other catagories of products they
sold. I can tell you now, Louis was right. My only regret is that we
do not have enough capital to invest in even more track products. We
are now looking at a redesign of our #5 switch to allow for closer
track centers and to reduce the cost of our track.
Don
PS I am sure that your article has helped us move more track.
Thanks a bunch.
