I DCC'd an AA pair of AM FA's a few years ago. The second unit is unpowered
so I mounted contacts on the rears of the units and ran jumpers between
them. This takes care of the headlight on the second unit. Track and sound
decoders (and speaker) are in the powered unit.

Of course, on the first installation, I didn't pay attention to lamp
mounting, and some of the smoke in the decoder escaped. THAT decoder went
into a unit not requiring a reverse headlight.
