The statement wasn't about a single motor in an s scale locomotive it was
about a S
scale locomotive with a Pittman motor. Big difference between the two. I have
Tsunami's
mounted in S scale single motor models and no problem so far. They are not
Pittman
motors though, They are Canon, Sagami, Maxon. Especially the Maxon, talk about
ultra
smooth and very low current draw!
Circuit breakers in Tsunami's that reset themselves??? On the sound side
maybe, on the
motor? How come 2 of mine fried themselves in about 10 nano seconds. At $100 a
decoder and sending them back to Soundtraxx and Soundtraxx stating that the
decoder
will not handle anything over 1 amp. I'll pass on trying to save the extra $50
on the model
and install separate decoders.
