I did a little turnout building, could have finished it but came up here to
look at the computer and answer e-mails. I can that is good or bad, just the
decision I made.
Thanks to everyone who contacted me about the caboose, it is on its way to a
new home.
Today many of the PPSSW guys and wives visited the Jasper estate on "the
island" to help Dave and Sharon celebrate 50 years of marriage. The point that
tools are like trains, you can never have enough is good, this does not hold
true for wives, one is plenty.
Also visited the State Fair today and spent time talking to an LED lighting
company. The new LED lights come in different temperatures and they can be
dimmed. I am thinking of guys who put in two lighting circuits for all the
fancy lighting needed for a railroad and now it can be done on one circuit
saving money for lights and for cooling because of all the heat the incandecent
lights put out. I need to do more investigation into exact costs and benefits.
