Dear Jace,
We do have extra code 110 drivers, I would not suggest turning the
AF comp. drivers down as the back to back is much narrower that the
code 110.
As far as sample sale goes, when I operate code 110 2-8-0s at
shows, I use my B&O and I do not plan on selling it (at this time).
Production numbers - The period we accepted orders for our 2-8-0 was
quite long. It worked out to be 60/40 AF comp/code 110. As far as
power went, it was 60% AC/DC LocoMatic, 20% DCC Tsunami and 20% DC.
Once they arrived, the skew changed drastically. Today, I would
believe that the 50/50 would be closer if we could of converted some
of the remaining AF comp. 2-8-0s to code 110. Keep in mind all of the
AF comp. freight steam engines that have become available in the last
4 years. I am sure that has a lot to do with it. As far as DCC vs all
others, DCC is now 90% of our 2-8-0 sales.
