Hello TK:

Welcome to the S scale and this S scale list.

I have only been in S scale for 3-4 years, so I'm not exceptionally
conversant with what kits may be available for steam engines of the late
19th century. I suspect you may have to kitbash using whatever is close,
possibly even starting with a model from another scale.

There is quite a bit available for Sn3 in the era of your interest. I
attempted to model in Sn3 circa 1890's for a number of years. I still have
an interest in railroading of the late 19th/early 20th century, but I model
such in "V scale", or "virtual scale". That is, computer simulation.

Hopefully, someone with far more background in S scale will step in and aid
you in your quest.

Good luck!

Andre Ming
