We have two 1880 car kits on the shelf....
Flatcar.... http://www.btsrr.com/bts9603.htm
Gondola.... http://www.btsrr.com/bts9604.htm
And the M&PA Flat comes from the late 1800s....

We have other cars already done in HO and O Scales - PRR XA Box and
B&O M-2 Box, for example - and will offer them in S IF the S folks ever
get excited about the early rail stuff. Seems to be the chicken/egg
scenerio again... no one models it because nothing exists and nothing
exists because no one models it. We do have one loco kit that works
for part of the era... the EBT 0-6-0 is based on a Baldwin 1892 design,
so it fits the early scheme.
Many of our structure kits will work for early rail modeling also.
Take care
Bill
