Just talked to a guy who lived on the California Coast for 12 years, then recently moved back to his New England home. Why? He missed the four seasons.
Anyway, had model railroad visitors today and the Jefferson Central was in a very hateful mood, never had so many things go wrong. Fortunately, my friend is a very a patient man and didn't seem to mind, especially me sweating, crawling out from under the layout many times, the electrical system completely going blank and so on. Meanwhile the two girls were upstairs giggling and were having a wonderful time going through Mary's recipes. Sort of irritating, of course I was getting perplexed. ( That's a nice word for it!) Finally, I said "Have you seen the DVD of Brooks Stover's, on his Buffalo Creek & Gauley Railroad? He said no, I was relieved, and we had a wonderful time viewing Brook's marvelous layout and his well put together model railroad. Ain't none better! Now, totally relaxed again, the four of us went out to a late lunch, visited our friends down the road who have a LIONEL HOBBY shop. They also have Lionel's American Flyer to sell. The girls were surprised that we didn't buy anything while there! "What ! You were in a hobby shop and didn't buy anything?" We did learn that LIONEL requires their dealers to be open and gives them a schedule to abide by. http://www.palmyratrainshop.com/ Well, the day has ended and now I'm hitting the sack, but will make an effort to make sure the layout is up and running by the Holidays! Good Night! Billy (Fraley) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
