Yes, that is generally what I'd heard, that there was a lot of industrial 
espionage going on in Korea, and that any US
players involved in it ended up getting burned.  Again, some of what K-Line was 
doing in O scale toward the end looked
promising.  Even with some very nice full-scale cars and locomotives in O 
scale, Lionel has NEVER shown the least 
interest in offering anything in two-rail.  Some convert more easily than 
others.
