Newfoundland Railway - 900+ miles

There was a logging line in Southern BC in 3' 6" as well.  I am sure a number 
of early railways in Ontario used that gauge. It was pretty common in the 
British Empire. Unfortunately, my references aren't handy.

A quick check of Wikipedia shows 16% or so of the world's railway mileage is 
either 3' 6" or metre gauge.  I think the Brazilian metre gauge has already 
been discussed here.
