Santa Fe had E8m (A and B units) These were had the suffice "m" as the
Santa Fe traded in other units to get them rebuilt to E8A and E8Bs.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Big Uncle Pete

All,

In the latest issue of Classic Trains is a photo that really took me by
surprise. It was a MASSIVE Union Pacific passenger train with an A B B B A
set of E8. (UP was the only buyer of E8 B units to the best of my knowledge)

Anyway - this train went to the horizon. It was running on the **FIRST** day
of Amtrak's creation! I thought train passenger travel was down at that
time. I doubt U P would have run THIS train with 3 people on it!

Pretty impressive I tell ya..

Thank You,
