I forgot to proof read this, as I corrected two words.

I don’t mean to sound heartless, as I am sure they did talk to each about
things, but she was not informed on things with his hobby, as I know this
happens allot with marriages. Get your spouse involve with the train, tell
her or him about what you are doing, any worth, etc. If they are not
interested write something down NOW as you never know what something can
happen. I came close to death once at age 52, so you never know.

Jim,

I am sorry about the lost of the husband, but this tells me they did not talk
to each other about things in their lives.

Linda, who you have met many times, knows where my PRICE guides, inventory
sheets, etc., for my train collection and other things like US coins baseball
cards. etc. She has a very good idea on the total of what my collectables are
worth. Maybe NOT each piece, but she knows the sum in total as again, she knows
about price guides etc., as a price guide is just a guide.

The wife did not do much research on this nor did the friend.

I do not put full fault with what she got completely on the buyer, yes, he
could of done better for her, but they always say get 3 offers in things in
life and she did not.

At the risk of stereotyping, it should be borne in mind that this is the late
modeler's BROTHER-IN-LAW...
