Hi Alex: Would these be skylight style windows that are flat on the roof surface, or vertical windows on the side of a celestery roof?
I doubt either would be of the opening variety so it would be relatively easy to scratch the frames from styrene and then add muntins cut from large engine house windows. I've custom modified windows this way and it's worth considering because life is too short to fabricate muntins when you can cut em from a commercial casting. I'd check the Grandt Line and Tichy websites to see what's suitable. Although the Tichy windows are HO a lot of them are nicely sized for S scale. I dug out my calculator and went through the Tichy catalogue converting their HO inches to S scale inches. I decided to make the sides windowless because lumber would be stacked inside but I want to put in some roof windows. I've seen this at a busy lumber store. Any suggestions or products that folks would recommend? cheers [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
