Hi Tom,
The San Diego S Gauge train club uses Tom's Turnouts exclusively with great
results. You can see the layout in operation in our video section of the
website. We run DCC scale trains on the outer track and AC trains on the inner
track. http://sites.google.com/site/sdsgaugers/Home

A few years ago, a polemic over Tom's Turnouts erupted on the list. Some argued
that Tom had indeed created a turnout that would allow both S-scale items or
hi-rail items. That went back and forth for quite some time. I wonder whether
anyone has actually purchased any of Tom's turnouts for operation in S scale
and what the results have been.

Tom
