If you have a small disc sander (10"). or a belt sander it shotens the time.. The ends have a "double" curve which is the real fun.
VERY Interesting site. Great little railroad, but an ideal line. Reminds me of the Belfast & Moosehead Lake, and the Cadiz (rode it). Kyaks and canoes. The ultimate skill. Using a piece of Northeastern milled roof stock, I filed and sanded the ends and filled out the curved overhangs with bits of styrene and a modest amount of Squadron putty. The whole thing took only an evening and came out a lot better than I expected. You can see a photo and my drawing of the car I'm building at http://twofootartist.com/suncook-valley-railroad/ Now my question: What is the best way to simulate a painted canvas covered roof? -Wes Ewell __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 5747 (20101230) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 5747 (20101230) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
