Okay - here's my solution: photographer's tape. I don't even know if this stuff 
is still sold. I have a roll that I got from a graphic artist 25 years ago. I 
put it on an Sn2 caboose a decade ago and it still looks good. I just tried it 
on the end of the clerestory to see if it would stretch over a double curved 
surface and it looks good. Will post photos in my album in a few minutes.

I have also used cloth adhesive bandage with good success. It’s much easier to 
cut than the tissue, and has held up for a couple years now using its own 
adhesive, although painting with Floquil, I suspect, also acts as an adhesive.
