Dale:
Not sure where you are located on the "West Coast" but if you make the trek to
Santa Clara to S West 7 which is on Feb 9-11, 2012, I guarantee you will see S
scale on display in its magnificent glory.
In addition, the BASS club is scheduled to have their S scale modular RR set up
for Dunsmuir Railroad Days which is June 11-13, 2011. Hopefully Dave Scott and
Bill Young will have their fantastic S scale railroads located nearby open then
as well.
S scale is alive and well in Northern California!
