Good point, Bill, but what about all those HO modular layouts with code 100
track? Is it really that hard to align the scale rails for a public showing?
Questioning....Ed L.

The Flyer guys always seem to hit me with this one. Clearly the S Scale
Workshop clearly don't agree. As Ed L. pointed out, the HO modular layouts
that outnumber ours 4-5 to 1, the On30 modular layouts, etc. seem able to
deal with the issue. Then there is a group with some of the earliest modular
standards, and one of the largest groups, N-Trak. Are we really such poor
builders that we can't make workable modules in scale while N and HO
modelers can?... Pieter Roos

Could it be that the H0 and N "scale" equipment has what we would consider
Hi-rail flanges? I think maybe it's the size of the flanges (in proportion
to the truck size) rather than the size of the rail. I know N is nowhere
near scale and I don't think you see any P87 portable layout at shows.

Thank you,
