I'm always looking for conversion fodder AF gons and flats at train
shows. It disturbs me how so many dealers seem to be out of touch
with reality trying to charge $20 and up for beat-up old cars missing
sill steps, etc. They look so offended when you say you'll do them a
favor and give them $5. "Those are collectable AF cars." What are
they smoking? If they are so collectible them why do they have a
stack of them, and the guy two tables down, and the guy in the next
aisle, and the guy in the next over... Ridiculous. One of these
days they are all going to figure out they've got dime a dozen junk
and some of us car bashers are going to be very happy. That day can't
come soon enough.
