    Hi Dick, seems like it would be pretty easy to link a switch machine like a 
tortoise or similiar to raise and lower the gate. The electronics should also 
be pretty easy considering the amount of new sensors and circuits that come out 
every year? I think the hardest part will be the leg work to run all this stuff 
down and sort it out (assuming you have some S scale sized crossing gates and 
flashers to install the control parts into).
