I don¹t know who said that hirailers would not buy detailed scale models. I
make a distinction between hirailers, scale and dedicated American Flyer
people. I personally like the detail of SHS, et al, but I don¹t much care
for the clunky AF compatible knuckle couplers, so I change them out for
scale, or for what passes for more scale-like couplers.
I don¹t know what category this puts me in...
