Hi guys,
I have had some time to work on my scenic view block structures. It is slow
work because I am designing as well as building as I go. I brought one of them
to the NMRA meeting on Thursday and enjoyed discussing view block ideas and
showing off my creation.
Bob, thanks for the discussion about the changes you are making on your
railroad. I think it is just great that you can operate trains like you do. I
think the S Fest is down your way next year and you are on the way. If we have
some guys going down, perhaps I can get dropped off for a day of operations?
The Twin Cities area is hosting an "invitational operations weekend" this fall.
While my layout will not be ready for it, I have offered to be open for
touring which may allow some low key operations. KC sends a group, perhaps I
can talk Mike, Dave and some of the other KC guys in riding along.
