As Jace noted, the E-27 is almost a dead ringer for the NYC G-46 class. A good
chunk of these were from the Toledo & Ohio Central and its subsidiaries, so I'm
quite pleased with this model.

George Elwood's Fallen Flags site has useful NYC locomotive information at
<http://rr-fallenflags.org/nyc/nyc-eng.html>. The various locomotive books
listed show the G-46 diagrams, and other classes might be close as well. There
are also links from the given link to photos of NYC steam and diesel
engines/locomotives.

Incidentally, for those who haven't checked, the NYC road number on the SHS
2-8-0 is for a B&A class, and the E-27 is not too far off from the NYC
prototypes.
