Ed, I had done a similar method to Paul:
Make a cardboard form using posterboard or similar, with forms to the necessary contour. Cover the cardboard form with crumpled aluminum foil. Cover that with plaster soaked handtowels to a 3x or 4x thickness and allow the plaster to set. Remove the aluminum foil along with the plaster from the cardboard form, then remove the aluminum foil from the plaster. Trim to fit, dint with dyes, and carefully install inside the "mountain". I even did a set of curved tunnel liners this way, making the forms on top of cardboard templates cut to match the roadbed curvature. Verrry nice they were. Been gone now for over a decade. :-( Darrell S. --- In [email protected], Edward Sauers <ehsauers1@...> wrote: > > Group, > > Anyone got a easy method of creating tunnel liners? > > Thanks > > Ed Sauers > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
