Ed,  I need to make a short liner also.  I read with interest Darrell's 
way of doing it.  This made me think of perhaps, a simpler way to making 
it happen.  Photographers use a aluminum foil that is already a dull 
black finish.  So you use that directly to a wood or cardboard form.  
Silicon caulking should hold it.  I think the product is by Rosco.
