All -- At the recent NASG Convention in Sacramento, I was drafted to moderate the "Yahoo S-Scale E-List" discussion. The group came up with a list of draft recommendations to improve the content, relevance, and civility of the e-list. The group then gave me a specific set of actions to take, viz.:
1. Contact the two e-list owners jointly to tell them what I was about to do (as follows). 2. Discuss with each owner, separately, the group's draft recommendations. 3. Based on these discussions, synthesize a final set of recommendations. 4. E-mail these recommendations to the e-list owners. 5. For purposes of closure with the e-list members who attended the session at the Convention, post the result to the e-list. The result is shown below my name, below. Please keep in mind that these recommendations have no authority. Only the e-list owners have the authority to make and change the e-list mission and rules.
