Also, one of the Baldwin models has a truck center distance very close to the EMD distance, but swapping frames under the shell will not be that easy by any means. Someone needs to check whether or not Baldwin and Fairbanks-Morse used a truck that was a foot longer wheelbase than the corresponding EMD/Alco truck. The reason is that Westinghouse traction motors were used instead of GE. I think this applies only to the B road truck but not the A switcher truck, but I could be incorrect.
