Larry 'Buster' Crabbe played both serial roles - he was listed as
'Buster' in the "Flash Gordon" series (1936) and as Larry in "Buck
Rogers" (1939). Both serials were made by Universal and used many of
the same props. One such of interest was the subterranean railroad
used in both series which connected 'Killer' Kane's lair to the
spaceport in the "Buck Rogers" film and again in the "Flash Gordon"
serial where it ran in the 'secret' city.
I have these films in my collection and they're always fun to watch!
