Jeff -- Ed L. is just being obtuse. He knows that you will have no trouble if all your electrical feeders are at the point ends of your turnouts, AND if you space your points far enough from the stick rails so that all your passing metal wheels will not rub their backsides against the open point. That's what he does.
But it's unlikely that you will be so fortunate to have all your points facing your feeders, AND that you will want to space your point rails so far from the stock rails. So you will need to isolate your frogs. Ed says no one addressed the real question. But Dave Heine did. As am I. As for the NASG Clearing House not responding to your e-mail, try calling them.
