Jeff --

Ed L. is just being obtuse.  He knows that you will have no trouble if all your
electrical feeders are at the point ends of your turnouts, AND if you space
your points far enough from the stick rails so that all your passing metal
wheels will not rub their backsides against the open point.  That's what he
does.

But it's unlikely that you will be so fortunate to have all your points facing
your feeders, AND that you will want to space your point rails so far from the
stock rails.  So you will need to isolate your frogs.

Ed says no one addressed the real question.  But Dave Heine did.  As am I.

As for the NASG Clearing House not responding to your e-mail, try calling
them.  Also, be aware that the Clearing House has a new manager/phone
number/e-mail address:  Roy Meissner, Box 1, Merton, WI 53056/(262)
538-4325/[email protected].
