When I joined the Houston S Gaugers well over 1/4 century ago (not 
nearly as long as the Ming dynasty!), I was told "if you see anything in 
S or something comes out in S...buy it right away because you'll never 
see it again!"

This stopped being a problem when AM, our brass guys and then SHS 
starting making so many things not many could keep up.  However as the 
brass becomes more expensive, and the plastic becomes harder to find 
too, that saying might be in order.  After all it helps the folks at 
ebay make a few dollars from our regrets.  Or like our Gopher state 
people do--swapping can be fun too!
