Hi all --
The neatest deal is when I had John Verser (PRS) make a bunch of data only
cars for the shop. He managed to sell a few elsewhere, enough so that they
became a question during an order – “Do you want more data only cars?”
Those have been the only cars that I have been consistently asked for since
the selling of the shop. And no, I don’t have any....
I would have liked SHS to do that with hopper cars, but the order level was
way too high. My solution has been to buy the decorated cars with
appropriate data, mask that off, and paint over the original road name, then
re-decal with SLE&P marks and herald.

I'll bet undecs are a thorn in the side and perplexation for the mfg'ers.
Too many, and they can't move 'em at all... not enough and... we're
screaming "WHY WEREN'T THERE MORE UNDECS!!!"
