Andre beat me to it, but it’s his thread to start with...
Besides getting the westbound main line functioning after many years, I also
have been prepping the train room for the NMRA meet next month in Flagstaff.
This has accomplished the usual things – I get distracted and I finally painted
some Plano/DPH etched roofwalks and applied one to a car that has been on the
rip track for a year; I found the parts from my bay window caboose bash that
were needing painting, so now I can continue with that project; I found detail
parts for the engine house, so that project can get back on track; I found some
PRS 8 foot Youngstown doors I had forgotten I had, so they are now in the boxes
with possible candidate boxcars for the “upgrade” door conversion; and lots
more of that sort of thing. Still getting organized from the move over here
to AZ seven years later!
