I just finished a rather productive day even though I had a reasonable
amount of "redo". For those that might want to try using the pine strip for
laying out curves it took me doing both main lines twice to realize where I
went wrong. The whole idea of using the strips is they find where they need
to go with almost no thinking on your part. In my case I identified 6 points
that I needed to hit. But on the first go round I started to tack the strip
down. NOT the way to do it. The strip needs to "float. Just put 2 nails that
snugly fit the width of the strip at your reference points and walk the
strip around. Give it a little tug and equalize the pressure. You will very
quickly have your needed line. When I redid the inside main it was a very
different and better line that followed the outside main very closely.

I also got 4 sections of SHS flex track down. If you have not used it yet,
it a sheer pleasure to put down.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
